THE AVENGERS Will Start Shooting in February

Word just got out that Paramount Pictures and Marvel Studios plan to start shooting The Avengers in February of 2011! There is also a very strong possibility that it will shoot in 3D.

As you know the film is set to be directed by Joss Whedon, and the highly anticipated film will star Robert Downey Jr. as Iron Man, Chris Evans as Captain America, Chris Hemsworth as Thor, Jeremy Renner as Hawkeye, Samuel L. Jackson as Nick Fury, Mark Ruffalo as Hulk, Scarlett Johansson as Black Widow and Clark Gregg as Agent Phil Coulson.

This film should end up being one of the biggest movie events ever! Something like this has never been done before, and I can't wait to see it all come together.
