Oliver Platt Joins the Cast of X-MEN: FIRST CLASS

Here's another casting announcement for Matthew Vaughn's X-Men: First Class! I'm convinced we'll be seeing casting announcements for this film up until the point the movie comes out in theaters.

Vaughn has cast Oliver Platt in the new X-Men film which will start shooting next month in London. Deadline reports that Platt will play a role called The Man in Black, who is not a mutant.

I love Platt as an actor and it should be interesting to see who this character he plays is. I couldn't find much information on The Man in Black. If you have any insight on the character please feel free to share it with us!

Platt will join James McAvoy as Professor Xavier, Michael Fassbender as Magneto, Alice Eve as Emma Frost, Nicholas Hoult as Beast, Jennifer Lawrence as Mystique, Caleb Landry Jones as Banshee, Lucas Till as Havoc, Edi Gathegi as Darwin, Rose Byrne as Moira MacTaggert,  Jason Flemyng as Azazel and Kevin Bacon as the villain.
