J.J. Abrams and LOST Director to play 7 MINUTES OF HEAVEN

Movie LostJ.J. Abrams by Joey Paur

So have you ever played the game seven minutes of heaven? This is a make out game that is popular among teenagers, where they go into a closet to get some action. I look back at that kind of stuff I use to do growing up, and it just doesn't make sense! Why would anyone do that!? How silly does it sound making out with a girl or boy in a closet? Ah, the things we geeks use to do to get a kiss.

Well, J.J. Abrams and LOST director Jack Bender are making a movie based on this little game. The movie will be called 7 Minutes of Heaven. There aren't a lot of plot details reveled for the movie yet, but what we do know is that it will focus on two teens who go into a closet as part of the titular game, and heres the twist... they come out to find all their friends dead! Now that's never happened to me before! The movie will revolve around the mystery of what happened.

Sounds like it could make for a fun horror film. J.J. Abrams is very much into developing films that audiences will have fun watching. It should be interesting to see how this movie production plays out.

What do you all think of the concept?

In case you forgot, here's a detailed description of the game:

Seven minutes in heaven is a kissing game first played by teenagers in Cincinnati in the early 1950s. Two people are selected to go into a closet or other dark enclosed space and do whatever they like for seven minutes, often making out. They also have expanded it to be up to 30 minutes.

The people can be selected by various methods, such as spinning a bottle, or the selection of an object from a hat, by a girl.
