Microsoft Shows Off WINDOWS PHONE 7 Launch Games
Yesterday, Microsoft revealed the first round of games for their Windows Phone 7 mobile OS at GamesCom in Germany. The company showed 60 games, including familiar franchises like Bejeweled, Castlevania, Crackdown, Guitar Hero, Halo, and Splinter Cell along with a handful of unique properties. They also mentioned several more launch titles before the OS' release this Christmas.
Could this be the turning point for Microsoft in the mobile market? The games sound promising as does the Xbox Live integration. With this on the horizon, a possible PSP phone from Sony Ericsson, and the ongoing success of Droid, Apple could finally have something to worry about aside from where to put all their money.
Will you be purchasing a Windows Phone 7 device when they're available?
