ARCADE FIRE Saves Terry Gilliam From Depression

Terry Gilliam's The Man Who Killed Don Quixote recently suffered yet another setback (most of the film's setbacks are chronicled in the documentary Lost in La Mancha, available on Netflix Instant Watch). With production halted, the director was a bit depressed and taskless. Thankfully, The Arcade Fire phoned him up and asked him to film their recent gig at Madions Square Garden in New York for a webcast.

"Me doing this thing with Arcade Fire is a result of this hiccup with Don Quixote," he told MTV News. "It was extraordinary to get the call from Arcade Fire. I have to thank them for liberating me from weeks of depression. I'll get back on Quixote after I get back."

Gilliam says that Quixote's latest hiccup is of the financial variety but has faith that the film will soon be back on track.
