Skarsgard Possibly In THE GIRL WITH THE DRAGON TATTOO

I know that I might get shot for this, but I have yet to read this book.  I have heard it was a great read.  Please forgive me, I will read it as soon as I am done with The Strain.

Anyway, it seems that the cast for this movie is growing ever still.  Currently, Daniel Craig is attached to the The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo and it looks like another great actor is about to be cast in it soon.  Stelen Skarsgard is  currently in negotiations to be in this film.  How do we know this?  From this quote he gave to Variety:

I have met Fincher, I want to work with him, he wants to work with me.  I have had a concrete offer and now are in negotiations.

He is set to play the part of Martin Vanger.  He went on to say:

The contract is for the period September to March, but I don't know yet when I am supposed to start my part of the film," he added. "Most of it is to be shot in Stockholm, but some studio work will be done in the U.S. I think there might be some location work as well, when it becomes too dark to start here.

Like I said, this book is the next on my reading list, and if it is as good as everyone says that it is, I am happy that David Fincher is at the helm of this movie.  DF is tied for my favorite director with Alfred Hitchcock.  In a close second is Christopher Nolan.  Enough with that, as more info comes out about this film, we will bring it right to you.  Until next time, let us know what you think.
