Cillian Murphy In Talks To Be In I'M.MORTAL

 

I haven't heard of this project before, but it sounds very interesting.  Interesting indeed.

This film is being helmed by the director of one of my favorite movies, Gattaca, Andrew Niccol.  Slated to star in this film is the beautiful Amanda Seyfried.  Justin Timberlake and Cillian Murphy are in negotiations to also star in the film.  Here is a synopsis of the film from THR:

The story is set in the not-too-distant future, when the aging gene has been switched off.  To avoid overpopulation, time has become the currency and the way people pay for luxuries and necessities.  The rich can live forever, and the rest try to negotiate for their immortality.

When a poor man named Will (Timberlake, who still is negotiating his deal) is suddenly given a fortune, he becomes the target of a murder investigation and kidnaps an heiress (Seyfried) while on the run.

Sounds like it could be a lot of fun.  I truly like the cast, if they all make it onto the film.  Surprisingly, since Alpha Dog, Timberlake has impressed me with his acting abilities.  Even better, Cillian Murphy would play an officer for the organization called The Timekeepers.  I'm going to try to keep on the developments of this film.  Until next time, let us know what you think.
