Trailer for Clint Eastwood's HEREAFTER
It looks like Clint Eastwood has made another great film! I don't know about you, but I'm a huge fan of Clint Eastwood's work. The guy has made some incredible films in his career and he continues to impress me. I look forward to anything this guy creates, I think he's one of Hollywood's master storytellers.
The first official trailer for his supernatural film Hereafter has been released, and it looks like it's going to be a great movie. This film is different from anything that Eastwood has done before due to the subject matter. The story seems solid, and like always the cinematography in the film done by Eastwood regular Tom Stern looks absolutely incredible.
The film stars Matt Damon, Bryce Dallas Howard, Cecile De France, Frankie McLaren, George McLaren, and Jay Mohr.
The story is a supernatural drama in the vein of The Sixth Sense, Hereafter follows three people and the effect that death has on each of them: a French TV journalist who escapes death from the 2004 tsunami, a single mother who loses one of her twin boys in a car crash, and a reluctant psychic who is called on for answers.
Official Synopsis:
“Hereafter” tells the story of three people who are haunted by mortality in different ways. Matt Damon stars as George, a blue–collar American who has a special connection to the afterlife. On the other side of the world, Marie (Cécile de France), a French journalist, has a near–death experience that shakes her reality. And when Marcus (Frankie/George McLaren), a London schoolboy, loses the person closest to him, he desperately needs answers. Each on a path in search of the truth, their lives will intersect, forever changed by what they believe might—or must—exist in the hereafter.
This is one of my most anticipated movies of the year, and it comes out on October 22nd. Watch the trailer for the film below and let us know what you think!
