Could a Gritty, Live Action POKEMON Film Soon Drop?

The folks at Shogun Gamer got their hands on what appears to be the trailer for a gritty, live action Pokemon film. Apparently an anonymous users was invited to a "secret" screening of the trailer and was able to capture it on a mini-video recorder and decided to send it in. 

What do you think? The clip appears to be legitimate, however, I have a hard time believing anyone would fund a project like this in the wake of The Last Airbender.
