Terry Jones, the director of classic films such as The Life of Brain and Labyrinth, is currently developing a new film project called Absolutely Anything. This is an original story that he wrote with Gavin Scott (The Borrowers, Small Soldiers).
The film will star John Oliver (The Daily Show, Community) and all we know about the film so far is that is involves "aliens, a goofy Brit, a talking dog and buckets of silliness."
Robin Williams is supposedly in negotiations to voice the dog and Jones' former Monty Python troupe-mates John Cleese, Terry Gilliam, Eric Idle and Michael Palin are being asked to voice the aliens. How freakin' cool is that!
Production on Absolutely Anything is scheduled to start early next year.
