The Last Exorcism Director to take on M. Night Shyamalan Produced film REINCARNATE
Here's yet another film coming from producer M. Night Shyamalan that audiences can groan at when they see the trailer in movie theaters.
Media Right Captial and Shyamalan are setting up the next horror thriller under Shyamalan's Night Chronicles banner which was formed to develop story's that the disliked director comes up with. Once he comes up with the idea he brings in a creative team of writers and directors to bring the story to life for him.
The next film that will be going into development is called Reincarnate, which was scripted by Chris Sparling, who is the same guy that wrote the film Buried with Ryan Reynolds, which is one of my favorite movies of the year. Daniel Stamm (The Last Exorcism) was hired to direct the film, which is actually kind of a cool concept.
The story is about a jury haunted by supernatural forces while deciding the fate of an accused murderer. Production will begin in 2011.
This will be the second film made under the Night Chronicles banner, the first film is the upcoming Devil, and the third film will be a re-worked take on Shyamalan's sequel to Unbreakable.
