J.J. Abrams' highly anticipated and highly secretive film project Super 8 starts shooting on Weirton, West Virginia this week! Here are some photos of the location where the movie will shoot. The small West Virginia town will serve as Lillian Heights in Super 8's Lillian, Ohio. This is a great little small sleepy town feel. The perfect location for something to go horribly wrong.

This week it was reported that Elle Fanning and Kyle Chandler were cast in the film. I suspect that we will here more casting announcements soon.
