Alexis Bledel Cast in Teenage Assassin Movie VIOLET AND DAISY

Gilmore Girls star Alexis Bledel has been cast along side Saoirse Ronan (Atonement, City of Ember) in the upcoming new teenage assassin film Violet and Daisy from writer/director Geoffrey Fletcher.

The two young actresses will play a pair of young assassins whose assistant proves to be much more involved than they had initially planned. James Gandolfini is also attached to star in the movie.

Fletcher previously adapted Precious: Based on the Novel "Push" by Sapphire, which won him an Academy Award. Violet and Daisy is an original script that he wrote, and it will be his firstwill directing gig.

Bledel has also been in films such as Sin City and The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants.
