Darren Aronofsky Joins lists of Directors to Possibly take on SUPERMAN
As of right now producer Christopher Nolan is currently on the hunt for a director to take on the Man of Steel! It was recently reported that Zack Snyder, Matt Reeves, and Duncan Jones were on the short list of directors to possibly develop the new Superman project. We can now add Darren Aronofsky to the list, the director of The Wrestler and the upcoming film Black Swan.
Although I think Aronofsky would do a great job directing the film, I'm still more interested in Moon director Duncan Jones' vision. I really want to see what this guy can do with a big budget tentpole film. I wouldn't be disappoint at all if Aronofsky ended up directing Superman, I think it would be awesome! I'm just rooting for the guy who deserves his big chance.
Nolan and the studio have yet to make a decision, but it's looking like they are going to make one soon. The script was written by David Goyer, and I can't freakin' wait to see the story they actually came up with!
