Jamie Bell Cast in new Thriller MAN ON A LEDGE

Actor Jamie Bell (Jumper) is set to star in a new crime thriller called Man On A Ledge. He joins Joins Sam Worthington who was previously cast in the film, and Hurt Locker co-star Anthony Mackie is currently in negotiations to join the project as well.

The story follows a cop (Worthington) who's thrown in jail for a crime he didn't commit. He's let out for his father's funeral, and uses the opportunity to escape and ends up on a hotel ledge threatening to kill himself. Bell plays his brother, who happens to be planning a heist of a jewelry store across the street while the cop threatens suicide. Mackie would play the disgraced cop's ex-partner.

There's still a role that needs to be cast, a female psychiatrist who tries to talk the cop off the ledge and develops feelings for him. It's rumored that Amy Adams is up for the role

It seems like there's a lot going on in this story! It should be interesting to see how they tie it all together.

The film is set to be directed by Asger Leth, who is best known for his documentary Ghosts of Cite Soleil. It'sbeingproduced by Lorenzo di Bonaventura, Mark Vahradian, and David Ready.
