First Look at the Rated 'R' Muppet Movie WE R ANIMALS
Hey gang! Here's our first fun and interesting look at the new rated 'R' muppet style movie We R Animals. The film is being shot in Sweden, but will be in the english language. It was inspired by Peter Jackson's Meet The Feebles. The film is also the directorial debut of Thobias Hoffmen.
The film is going to start shooting in 2011, and the photos that you see here are from a test shoot used to demonstrate the concept to potential investors.
The film features a Cat pimp, Cat ninja, Cat junkie, and also a vampire bat. As well as a cute, fluffy bunny who is going to have to sell it to survive. The movie just sounds like it's going to be insane! Hoffmen describes the film as "'A live-action version of a cartoon world.' A bit like an adaptation of a graphic novel. It is our world, yet not. As a living painting by CM Coolidge, which is drawing everything to a head."
Synopsis:
Snow White the rabbit is stuck in a sadistic man's pet store, she craves for love but nobody wants to take her home. But one day the animals wreck havoc and they all escape, including Snow White. She gets lost with her newfound freedom and almost dies, until the nice old lady Alice saves her. Snow White would've had a bright future if not for Alice's jealous and vindictive dogs, who call on their friend Flash, a shady and devious pimp cat. Together they plan to transform Alice's apartment into a brothel for animals, and force Snow White and even the human Alice into prostitution.
We R Animals is a comic adventure, filled with drug using cats, horny dogs, cat-ninja assassins, vampire bats, cruelty and magic. In essence We R Animals is a love story told with warmth, where sometimes the laughter sits in the throat and forces us to question the morals and views of both animals and man.
Bring it on! Check out the photos from the film below and let us know what you think! Enjoy!
