Could This Animatronic Hulk Have Saved Ang Lees Movie?

I wonder what could have been if Ang Lee had decided to use the animatronic Hulk created by special effects genius Steve Johnson in his movie. Would it have been any better?

Johnson has released this amazing video from his youtube page which contains footage of the never-used real-life robot Hulk he (and his team) built for the 2003 Ang Lee film Hulk. It looks very realistic and actually moved.
