A Brief History of Product Placement in Film
Check out this great video from Film Drunk called, A Brief History of Conspicuous Product Placement in Movies. It points out a great deal of paid product placement spots that have been included in movies throughout the history of film.
I find it annoyingly funny when product placement is so blatantly in your face, and it's hilarious to see all of these clips thrown together into one video.
As for the Nintendo Power Glove as shown above... after I saw The Wizard I had to have it, so when it was released I got one. It really ended up being a big piece of crap.
