Blake Lively, Jennifer Lawrence & Emma Watson Up For Roles In INCARCERON

Taylor Lautner was last year's highest paid teenage actor! He has had a string of films lately all with a nice payday. Lautner was paid a reported $7.5 million for Stretch Armstrong. 2011 will have him pulling double duty as a producer and star in two new studio films.

This year he will receive an 8-digit payday from Fox 2000 and New Regency each for his two only available time slots. Get ready to see even more of Lautner on screen in 2010, Michael Bay is circling Taylor to star in their movies for 2012 and beyond. Seeing as he has such a huge fan base this type of news makes complete sense for studios looking to make a nice return on their investment.

Deadline is reporting that Fox 2000 has it's sights on Blake Lively, Jennifer Lawrence or Emma Watson to star as Lautner's love nterest in Incarceron. John Palermo Productions is producing along with Lautner’s own Quick Six production banner. Lautner will play the lead role based on the best-selling sci-fi/fantasy novel from Catherine Fisher. Lautner will star as a character who lives his entire life in a savage and futuristic prison society. Adam Cooper and Bill Collage (the duo scripting Moby Dick for Timur Bekmanbetov and Moses for FOX) are writing the script.

Lautner will also play the lead in an as–yet-unnamed international spy thriller described as “The Bourne Identity for the next generation,” set up at New Regency. The film is loosely based on the exploits of Juval Aviv, a former Israeli Mossad agent who Steven Spielberg based the Academy Award-nominated Munichon. Lautner will produce with Alexandra Milchan (who is currently producingThe Wolf Of Wall Street with Leonardo DiCaprio), daughter of Israeli mogul Arnon Milchan who is New Regency's founder.

Filming on Twilight Saga's Breaking Dawn will wrap this spring. Fox 2000 has him for their film in 2011, but producers are hope to woo him to their projects. Craig Zadan and Neil Meron (ChicagoHairspray) look to nab him for their untitled project. Demon Wars from Scott Stuber based on the book by R.A. Slavatore will feature Lautner in the role of a reluctant hero forced to confront the dark tides of destiny in his search for justice and peace. Michael Bay hopes to get him for his upcoming Platinum Dunes production.

Lautner's first major Non-Twilight film will be Lionsgate's thriller Abduction on September 23rd. How well that does will impact his future films. I am actually a fan of the Twilight Saga. I do not think those are great showcase of his acting ability, but they have a voracious fan base. The movies he has in the pipeline all sound pretty cool, so I will be giving them a chance.

What are your thoughts of this news? Who would ou like to see star opposite Lautner in Incarceron?
