New TRANSFORMERS: DARK OF THE MOON Characters Revealed

Three new characters were announced in the form of toys for Transformers: Dark of the Moon. "The Dreads" are a trio of black SUVs who, when they transform, have dreads and speak like Michael Clarke Duncan. They are Chevrolet Suburbans which are part of the MechTech crew. They have giant pinchers and a giant gun.

I hated Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen for a number of reasons. One of the big reasons was the annoying and stereotypical twin characters. Even thought Michael Bay said the "twins" will not appear in the new film, they were seen on the set. We will have to wait to see if they actually make it onto the big screen or not (fingers crossed that they do not)

The main question I have is why are they called “Dreads” and actually have what looks like dreadlocks? There will be a lot of new character toys announced betwen now and the release. Lets just hope that the Nascar-bots look cool.

Transformers: Dark of the Moon arrives in theaters July 1st, 2011 in 3D.
