MAD MAX: FURY ROAD finally set to start filming next Spring in Namibia

Finally the long gestating Mad Max: Fury Road is moving into produciton next spring in Namibia. George Miller's film has been delayed a number of times, but it looks to be finally on track. Cinemablend (via The Daily Beast) is reporting that Tom Hardy has announced he plans to start training for the film in March. Thanks to Bleeding Cool we have some photos of the cars being used for the shoot on their way to Namibia for shooting. Miller has been forced to move production to Namibia because of a greener-than-normal Australian outback.

With Hardy on board and Charlize Theron hopefully still attached to star as a "one-armed warrior woman", this film is shaping up to be pretty cool. Miller has not directed a live-actio film sine Babe: Pig in the City, so I am sure this will be a nice change from the Happy Feet franchise.
