Unreleased Graphic Novel IN THE DUST is Being Adapted into a Film!

 

I haven't heard about this graphic novel until today, but it's already on its way to being made into a movie.  Crazy, right?  The graphic novel is called In The Dust.  It is being brought to us by Top Cow, the same company that brought us the graphic novel Wanted.  Here's a break down of the story from THR:

The story is set against the Dust Bowl of the 1930s, when “black blizzards” obscured the Midwest and prairies. The plot sees a G-Man investigating the disappearances of entire families from small towns during these storms, uncovering the existence of an army of vampires that are using them as cover to ravage the countryside. The agent is forced to team up with remnants of Al Capone’s gang to save Chicago when the vampires turn their attention to the Windy City.

Vampires are not that original idea, but I love the way that they are being brought into an important a piece of American history.  I will be checking out both the graphic novel, which hits shelves next year and the film when it's released.  Let us know what you think.
