ANT-MAN script still moving along from Joe Cornish and Edgar Wright

Joe Cornish has given an update on the much-anticipated Ant-Man script that he and Edgar Wright have been working on for Marvel. He and Wright are currently working on the 3rd draft of the script. Here is what he had to say in a recent interview with Hitfix.

Cornish would not go on the record, but did share the following:

-Edgar Wright isn't the official director of the movie. It's a strong possibility but not set in stone.

-He and Edgar are still hard at work on the film, meaning that a 3rd draft is apparently in the works.

-Cornish went on to say that Ant-Man is Edgar's project and that he will leave all the big announcements to him.

It has been reported that the story could have more than one person as Ant-Man (including Hany Pym and S.H.I.E.L.D. Agent Eric O'Grady) because the story may cover a lengthy timeline. This would likely mean that there will be different actors playing the part.  Not much is known at this time about what Cornish and Wright are working on specifically. We will keep you posted as more news develops on this story.

In the meantime let us know who you would like to see star in the film.
