Matthew Vaughn to Adapt another Mark Millar Comic THE SECRET SERVICE

X-Men: First Class director Matthew Vaughn sure does love the comic books that writer Mark Millar creates. He adapted his Kick-Ass comic into a Kick-Ass film, it was recently announced that he bought the rights to the film Superior. He's also been linked to American Jesus as well as War Heroes

Vaughn, Millar, and comic artist Dave Gibbons announced a new comic book today called The Secret Service. Vuaghn co-created the comic, and he also holds the movie rights to it as well. So you can bet that somewhere down the line he end up adapting the comic into a film. There's no information of what the story of this comic entails, but like the title says it will end up being a action-adventure story that revolves around the secret service. The title will be a six issue series from Millarworld and will hit stores in February 2012.

According to the report Vaughn will most likely write the script for Secret Service with his collaborator Jane Goldman, who worked with Vuaghn on the scripts for  Kick-Ass and X-Men: First Class. "For Superior, he will supervise the writing, according to sources."

I imagine Vaughn's next film will be either Superior or The Secret Service, but I wouldn't be surprised if he ended up making a non comic book film before he moves on to one of these. I guess we'll find out. What movie would you like to see Vaughn tackle next?
