SHERLOCK HOLMES 3 Gets a Screenwriter

Movieby Joey Paur

Warner Bros. is already starting to get to work on making a third Sherlock Holmes film. The studio is looking to hire Drew Pearce to write the script for Sherlock Holmes 3, continuing the series brought to life by director Guy Ritchie and starring Robert Downey Jr. and Jude Law. Pearce is currently writing the script for Marvels Iron Man 3, and also did some work on Guillermo del Toro's Pacific Rim..

The second film Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows doesn't even come out until December 16th, but the studio is obviously betting on it's success. I thought the first Sherlock Holmes was good, I enjoyed it, I just never felt the need to watch it a second time. The sequel looks like it will be pretty cool, they've brought together a great cast, and I'm excited to see Holmes face off with Moriarty.

What are your thoughts on the Studio starting to develop Sherlock Holmes 3?
