Jason Sudeikis to get in a DOG FIGHT with Ferrell, Galifanakis and Roach

Saturday Night Live's Jason Sudeikis is about to get in a Dog Fight with Will Ferrell and Zach Galifianakis. THR reports that the actor is set to star in the political comedy directed by Jay Roach. The screenplay was penned by Shawn Harwell and Chris Henchy, which focuses on "rival politicians in a small congressional district in South Carolina." Sarah Baker and Katherine LaNasa are also set to star in the film.

Roach and Galifianakis are producing the film under Roach's Everyman Pictures, and Ferrell and Adam McKay, under their Gary Sanchez Prods. banner. The film is slated to start shooting in New Orleans this November for an August release from Warner Bros.

Sudeikis continues to land roles in comedies such as Hall Pass, A Good Old Fashioned Orgy and Horrible Bosses. He will continue in his seventh season on NBC's SNL, and has an arc on HBO's Eastbound & Down. Sudeikis also lends his voice to Fox's The Cleveland Show.

I loved Horrible Bosses and am excited to see this film. It is odd that the film is set in South Carolina, but filmed in New Orleans. What are your thoughts on this news?
