Phillip Noyce to direct THE ARRANGEMENT

Movie by

Phillip Noyce has added another directing project to his list. Variety reports that he is set to direct The Arrangement based on a script by Brian Tucker for Mandate Pictures. The story follows "a married woman who makes a deal to spend three days with a wealthy man in exchange for a loan and must choose between him and her husband."

Mandate's Nathan Kahane is producing and had this to say in a statement:

"Phil Noyce's deftness with genre combined with compassion for his characters made him a perfect match for what we hope will be a real watercooler movie."

No start date has been confirmed for this film. It looks like his next project will be Timeless starring Liam Hemsworth (Hunger Games) for Relativity Media. Once that is complete he will move to The Arrangement. He is also busy directing and exec producing Revenge, which ABC just picked up for a full season.

Noyce is a great director and this sounds like a cool story. The more I watch Salt with Angelina Jolie, the more I like it. What are your thoughts on this news?
