THE LOST COAST TAPES searches for Bigfoot with this cool teaser poster

When Paranormal Activity 3 scares up nearly $54 million at the box office in a weekend, you know that the found footage phenomenon is not dying soon. A new POV horror-thriller called The Lost Coast Tapes is currently being sold to distributors at American Film Market next week. The story follows "an investigative journalist and his group that travel to Northern California to find the legendary Sasquatch, but the footage of that trip is now all that remains." The film was directed by Corey Grant, with production already wrapped on the film. After a "Bigfoot Hunter" claims to possess the body of a dead Sasquatch, a disgraced investigative journalist stakes his comeback -- and the lives of his documentary film crew -- on proving the find to be a hoax. Obviously shit goes down once they actually find the creature.

Just like many found footage films, The Lost Coast Tapes has an up and coming cast. The film stars Drew Rausch (The Closer, Battleship), Rich McDonald (Generation Kill), Noah Weisberg (Law & Order), Frank Ashmore (The Guild) and model Ashley Wood. For more details check out the official Facebook.
