Joss Whedon to Produce Supernatural Romance Film - IN YOUR EYES

Director Joss Whedon is currently in post production on Marvel's The Avengers, he surprised us with another film he directed while on vacation, a contemporary adaptation of Much Ado About Nothing. Today it's being reported that he's set up another film project through his Bellwether Pictures called In Your Eyes.

This is a supernatural romance film that Whedon wrote, but he will not be directing it. Whedon will serve as an executive producer on the project that will be directed by Brin Hill.

According to Deadline the film is a metaphysical love story about two seemingly polar opposites who are deeply connected in ways neither could have ever imagined. Whedon had this to say in a statement,

When I wrote In Your Eyes , I didn’t have the wherewithal (or the moxie) to make it without an established production house. I believe, as I did then, that it’s a pretty timeless romance, and now, with the creation of Bellwether Pictures (and Brin Hill’s elegant, passionate take on the piece), I have the opportunity to prove it. (I also have a 37% increase in moxie.) I love this team and I can’t wait to see them bring In Your Eyes to life.

I a big fan of what Whedon has done in his career, he a great storyteller, and has a talent for building amazing characters, and like all of his projects I'm excited to see where this new movie takes us. What do you think?
