Martin Campbell to Direct THE FALL GUY?
Casino Royale and Green Lantern director Martin Campbell is currently in talks to develop a feature film adaptation of The Fall Guy, which is based on the 1981 Glen Larson TV series. The film is currently being written by Ashley Miller and Zack Stentz who most recently scripted X-Men: First Class, which was a great film.
The original series starred Lee Majors as a stuntman who worked as a bounty hunter on the side. The film project was originally set up to be produced at DreamWorks, There's no word on if the studio is actually still invlved with it.
The main character of the story is Colt Seavers, a Hollywood stunt man who moonlights as a bounty hunter. He uses his physical skills and knowledge of stunt effects (especially stunts involving cars or his large GMC pickup truck) to capture fugitives and criminals.
This sounds like a cool movie, and I think Campbell would be a good director to take it on. What do you all think?
