THE HUNGER GAMES - 5 District Seals Revealed
Five new images have been released for Gary Ross's The Hunger Games, revealing five Seals for Districts 2, 7, 8, 9 and 12 in the story. I very excited about this movie, and I'm looking forward to seeing a solid full trailer for it. The film is is based on the popular book series by Suzanne Collins, which if you haven't read yet you should before the movie comes out. It's seriously a great read.
The Hunger Games chronicles a dystopic Capitol which requires its twelve subjugated districts to pay tribute in the form of a teenage boy and girl, forced to participate in the annual "Hunger Games," a fight-to-the-death live televised event. Katniss Everdeen's little sister is chosen in the lottery to participate and Katniss (Jennifer Lawrence) volunteers to take her place. Although persevering through hardship is commonplace for Katniss, she must start making choices that weigh survival against humanity and life against love in order to win the games and return home.
The film has a huge cast that also includes Elizabeth Banks, Stanley Tucci, Wes Bentley, Woody Harrelson and Lenny Kravitz. The film is set to open on March 23, 2012. What do you think of the Seal designs?
