Clint Eastwood in Talks to Star in TROUBLE WITH THE CURVE
Clint Eastwood is currently in talks to star in a new film for Warner Bros. called Trouble With the Curve. Eastwood has recently taken a back seat with the acting and has been focusing on directing his awesome films. The last film he starred in was Gran Torino, but he also directed the film. He will not be directing this one, this new film will end up being directed by Eastwood's Malpaso partner Robert Lorenz, and it would be his directorial debut. The last time Eastwood starred in a film under a director other than himself was In the Line of Fire back in 1993 under the direction of Wolfgang Peterson. Eastwood and Lorenz still have yet to close their deals with the studio, but it should all fall into place soon.
The script was wrtten by Randy Brown and the story follows an aging baseball scout who takes a road trip to Atlanta with his daughter.
I'm a big fan of Eastwoods work, it will be interesting to see how this movie turns out especially since he's not directing it. What are your thoughts?
