GOTTI: IN THE SHADOW OF MY FATHER on hold according to John Travolta

Gotti: In The Shadow Of My Father has stalled out, according to John Travolta. It's been reported that there is no more money to move ahead with the project, and that producer Marc Fiore has not been able to raise the money he needs. Fiore has stated that “money is coming from overseas,” but it has yet to arrive. At this point, "all work has halted, although not much work has actually happened. It’s unlikely production could begin in January since almost nothing has been done yet viz a viz sets, costumes, or planning." 

I wonder how Joe Pesci's suit against Fiore has impacted the ability to get financing. Pesci was suing because of pay disputes, so I am sure that has not helped. It is a shame that the movie is not happening any time soon. What are your thoughts?
