Bradley Cooper drops out of MAN FROM U.N.C.L.E.

Bradley Cooper has dropped out of Steven Soderbergh's The Man From U.N.C.L.E., according to Thew Wrap. He was attached to play Napoleon Solo in the film based on the 1960s TV show. The role was made famous by Robert Vaughn in the TV series.

The studio is still searching for an actor to play Solo's partner, which was played by David McCallum in the series. Cooper will be seen as Lucifer in Alexander Proyas' Paradise Lost and is currently filming the Weinstein Co.'s The Silver Linings Playbook. I think that Cooper made a good decision. Films based on TV series are not always well received.
