Clint Eastwood has been looking for the actress to play his estranged daughter in his next film, and has landed on Amy Adams. Variety reports that Adams is sought to star in the baseball movie, Trouble With The Curve.

Randy Brown wrote the film which is likely to be the director debut of Robert Lorenz (Eastwood's Malpaso partner) The story centers on "Eastwood's character, an aging baseball scout who's losing his sight and decides to take a road trip to Atlanta with his daughter to eye a hot prospect." The pic will be produced by Malpaso for Warner Bros.

Sandra Bullock was sought too, but her schedule is too busy Bullock's schedule is too full. Schedule issues may cause a problem for Adams as well. She will next be seen in The Muppets on Nov. 23 and is currently filming Man of Steel.

Adams is a gret actress and I am looking forward to seeing her in Man of Steel and Muppets. Hopefully she works her schedule out so she can star in the film. What are your thoughts on this news?
