Chuck's Yvonne Strahovski cast in I, FRANKENSTIEN

Chuck actress Yvonne Strahovski is officially on board to play the lead female character in the film adaptation of the Kevin Grevioux (Underworld) graphic novel I, Frankenstein. She will join Aaron Eckhart in the story who plays Adam Frankenstien. She will play his "love interest, a beautiful and gifted scientist."

The movie is being directed by Stuart Beattie and the modern-day fantasy thriller tells the story of the original monster of Victor Frankenstein, who stands between the human race and an uprising of supernatural creatures determined to overthrow the world.

I'm excited for this movie, especially now that the main cast is in place. Here are a few things that we've heard about the movie from from the creator that will give you an idea of what to expect.

• The story will take place in a modern day setting.

• It will involve classic monsters of lore, like vampires, werewolves, mummies, goblins, ghosts, things of that nature. Frankenstein's going to be involved with them.

• For the part of Frankenstein they want a bigger guy, anywhere from 6'2" to 6'6", a tad bit intimidating, someone who could act obviously, has a witty banter about him.

• It will be a straight-forward action film that's really going to raise eyebrows.
