James McAvoy talks X-MEN: FIRST CLASS sequel

X-Men: First Class was one of my favorite films of the summer. I was very happy to find out that Simon Kinberg was tapped to draft a sequel for 20th Century Fox. James McAvoy spoke to io9 today about the film.Fans of McAvoy should be pretty happy, he is contracted for three films and that.

He revealed that director Matthew Vaughn has an idea that he is pitching to the studio:

"[Xavier] can't just become the guy that we saw in the first three movies," says McAvoy. "He just had two major things happen to him. He's lost his best friend, essentially, and he's just been paralyzed from the waist down. Which is just a huge, huge blow to his considerable ego. So he's got to deal with that... You've got to deal with that, I don't care if he's a superhero and has brain powers or not, he's just had a huge part of his physical life taken away from him, by someone he cares about more than anyone else. So he's got to deal with that."

McAvoy lends his voice to Arthur Christmas, which arrives on November 23rd. He will also star in Wanted 2. I just hope that Michael Fassbender is signed on for three films as well. What are your thoughts on this news?
