GAME OF THRONES' Kit Harrington joins ARTHUR & LANCELOT

Kit Harrington is set to go from one fantasy realm to another. Variety reports that the Game of Thrones actor is set to star in Warner Bros. upcoming Arthur & Lancelot. The filming schedule is still being worked out, but is thought to begin shooting in early 2012. David Dobkin is writing and directing the film that has Joel Kinniman set to play Lancelot.

The film will be a departure for Dobkin who directed The Wedding Crashers and The Change-Up. Insiders close to the project say it will be more in the vein of "Braveheart"-style action. Charles Roven, Richard Suckle and Lionel Wigram are producing along with Dobkin. 

I am excited to see this take on the story, and will be interested in seeing Dobkin's style change from comedy to action. What are your thougths on this news?
