DIRTY DANCING Remake to be Released in 2013

Lionsgate has announced that they will be releasing their Dirty Dancing remake on July 26th 2013. The movie is being directed by Kenny Ortega who was the dance choreographer from the original film. The story follows a pampered young girl who summers with her upscale family at an establishment in the Catskills and falls in love with the resident dance instructor.

I was never really into the original Dirty Dancing film, so I could care less about this remake. I understand that it's considered a classic for a lot of people, if you happen to be one of those people what are your thoughts on this movie getting the remake treatment?
