HARRY POTTER theme park coming to Universal Hollywood!
I am a huge Harry Potter fan, but I have yet to go the The Wizarding World of Harry Potter at Orlando’s Universal Studios Islands of Adventure Park. Thet section of the park has been a major hit in Florida, so it makes complete sense that Universal would want to bring it to the Hollywood Park.
The LA Times reports that Universal is finalizing contracts with Warner Bros. to gain licensing rights for the new park. The deal is expected to be done by Christmas. The plan is to build a replica of the Florida park’s attractions in Los Angeles.
So far The Wizarding World in Orlando has brought in more than 7 million people, so let’s hope that Universal Hollywood will fare as well. The park would potentially in 2015. The biggest obstacle is finding where this new section is going to fit. I will more than likely visit the Orlando location before the Hollywood replica is built.
