Patton Oswalt Parodies Alamo Drafthouse Anti-Texting Video

As many of you have probably heard The Alamo Drafthouse in Austin Texas has a very strict no texting policy, and if you're caught your ass will be kicked out of the theater. Comedian Patton Oswalt was recently in Austin promoting his film Young Adult where they filmed a funny little video in which director Jason Rietman comes in to to kick Oswalt out of the theater for texting. Oswalt then parodies the hilariously infamous voicemail of an angry customer who was kicked out of the theater for texting on her cell phone.

You can watch the Oswalt parody video below, and below that we have the original "Dont Talk" PSA video for you to watch in case you haven't seen it. Enjoy the hilarity.

Here's the stance that The Alamo Drafthouse takes on texting:

We do not tolerate people that talk or text in the theater. In fact, before every film, we have several warnings on screen to prevent such happenings. Occasionally, someone doesn't follow the rules, and we do, in fact, kick their asses out of our theater. This video is an actual voicemail from a woman that was kicked out of one of our Austin theaters. Thanks, anonymous woman, for being awesome.
