IRON MAN 3’s Drew Pearce Sells SECRETARIES DAY
Sony Pictures has purchased the spec script from Drew Pearce titled Secretaries Day. Variety reports that Will Gluck is attached to direct and produce the action-comedy through his studio-based Olive Bridge Entertainment.
Secretaries Day marks the first original feature idea for Pearce, which he will also serve as exec producer. He has been working with Shane Black on Marvel’s Iron Man 3 and recently signed on to write Sherlock Holmes 3 for Warner Bros. He worked with Guillermo del Toro on the sci-fi film Pacific Rim and is currently writing the script for a Runaways project based on the comic Lost for Marvel. Pearce gained attention with his UK TV series No Heroics, about “a bar hangout for superheroes.”
