Top 3 Movies With Teachers and Protégés - De Palma directing PASSION starring Rachel McAdams and Noomi Rapace
Rachel McAdams and Noomi Rapace have been cast in Brian De Palma’s remake of Alain Corneau’s 2010 thriller Crime D’Amour. Deadline reports that De Palma’s version will be called Passion and starts shooting in Berlin on March 5 for ten weeks.
The original noir starred Kristin Scott-Thomas and Ludivine Sagnier and dealt with “a power struggle between a ruthless executive and her protégé.” De Palma is adding his spin to a script he wrote, that will mainly follow the same lines. Two characters will be added, a major male role and a smaller female role, which have yet to be cast. European actors will likely take those parts, according to Deadline.
