Warner Bros. has officially released the new full gloriously epic trailer for Christopher Nolan's The Dark Knight Rises! This is the same trailer that showed with Sherlock Holmes: A Games of Shadows.
This looks like it is going to be an epically incredible conclusion to this amazing Nolan franchise. It's going to be really sad to see this vision of Batman come to an end. I don't know if you saw the 6 minute prologue yet or not, but Bane is going to be one hell of a badass villain.
Here's the synopsis:
Warner Bros. Pictures' and Legendary Pictures' "The Dark Knight Rises" is the epic conclusion to filmmaker Christopher Nolan's Batman trilogy, Leading an all-star international cast, Oscar(R) winner Christian Bale ("The Fighter") again plays the dual role of Bruce Wayne/Batman. The film also stars Anne Hathaway, as Selina Kyle; Tom Hardy, as Bane; Oscar(R) winner Marion Cotillard ("La Vie en Rose"), as Miranda Tate; and Joseph Gordon-Levitt, as John Blake. Returning to the main cast, Oscar(R) winner Michael Caine ("The Cider House Rules") plays Alfred; Gary Oldman is Commissioner Gordon; and Oscar(R) winner Morgan Freeman ("Million Dollar Baby") reprises the role of Lucius Fox. The film is based upon characters appearing in comic books published by DC Comics. Batman was created by Bob Kane.
The movie is set to hit theaters on on July 20th 2012, and I'm hoping that it ends up being better than the first two. Click on the image below to watch the trailer in HD and tell us what you think!
