25 Posts Of Geek Christmas Day 2: Top 7 Festive Geek Songs

Music by Mick Joest

"This is honestly the most bland picture we've ever had on the site."

Day 2 is upon us geeks, and I wouldn't have to be a gambling man to wager your Christmas songs are out of date. Luckily for you we comprised a list of geeky, off beat songs for you to have this holiday season.

Some you are sure to know, hopefully some are new to you! When you are done be sure to post your personal favorites in the comments to share with the community!

7. The Killers - "Don't Shoot Me Santa"

Imagine if Santa got tired of your s*** after years of being on the naughty list and decided to take matters into his own hands. While "Don't Shoot Me Santa" may not be the geekiest on the list, it sure would've been a welcome addition to that horrible Christmas horror film Santa's Slay.

6. August Burns Red- "Carol of The Bells"

While we are on the subject of bad movies, this next little gem on our list was able to make The Spirit look watchable (which is saying a lot). With an aggression that would make Trans Siberian Orchestra s*** it's pants, August Burns Red holds a deserving spot on our list.

5. Chewbacca The Wookie- "Silent Night"

Not official. Not real. Still hilarious. Nuff said.

4. Fountains of Wayne- "I Want An Alien For Christmas"

Considering this is the same one hit wonder band who brought us "Stacy's Mom", I'm impressed. Very catchy for believers and non-believers alike.

3. Blazer Force- "Electronic Santa"

TOO...INCREDIBLY CATCHY....MUST....RESIST....SINGING....TO SELF..........ALL...DAY.

2. Weezer- "Christmas Song"

If you feel Weezer gets a geek pass sometimes just because of they way they look...well...you'd be somewhat right. Either way this song is legit, and that you can't deny.

1. MANNHEIM STEAMROLLER- "Deck The Halls"

So awesomely geeky that I doubt any of our other songs would be around had they not blazed the trail in the 80's. With a music video in which a child gets his mind blown by a paranormal Christmas card, it's a classic and sits well deservedly at the top of our list!
