BATTLESHIP - New International Japanese Trailer

Even though Peter Berg's new sci-fi film Battleship doesn't in any way represent the board game that it's supposed to be based on, it still looks like an incredibly fun and entertaining movie. Universal Pictures has released a new Japanese international trailer for the film. There's not much new footage, just a different cut of what we've already seen, but for some reason the Japanese subtitles make the movie look even a little cooler.

Here's the synopsis:

Peter Berg (Hancock) produces and directs Battleship, an epic-scaled action-adventure that unfolds across the seas, in the skies and over land as our planet fights for survival against a superior force. Inspired by Hasbro's classic naval combat game, Battleship stars Taylor Kitsch as Lt. Alex Hopper, a Naval officer assigned to the USS John Paul JonesBrooklyn Decker as Sam Shane, a physical therapist and Hopper's fiancee; Alexander Skarsgard as Hopper's older brother, Stone, Commanding Officerof the USS Sampson; Rihanna as Petty Officer Raikes, Hopper's crewmate and a weapons specialist on the USS John Paul Jones; and international superstar Liam Neeson as Hopper and Stone's superior (and Sam's father), Admiral Shane.

The film hits theaters in May of 2012, watch the trailer below and tell us what you think!
