New MUNSTERS Series Update Arrives (SPOILERS)

I like the idea of an updated take on the Munsters much more than I do The Three Stooges remake from the Farrelly Brothers. One of the main reasons I am interested in it is because of Bryan Singer's involvement. 

Our friends over at Movie Hole (via Latino Review) have a new update on the series that is planned as a "dark dramedy" centering on the troubling adolescence of Eddie Munster.

Here is how the pilot starts, which deals with Eddie having trouble adapting to being a werewolf:

'It’s a scout camp, and the scout master has just rounded up the scouts in an effort to find out who has eaten all the boxes of food. While the token fat kid is being eyeballed, a ravaging wolf is about to crash the party…

…. next morning, a young boy wakes up naked in the woods.'

This causes the Munsters to move to Mocking Bird Heights for a fresh start. Until I see a trailer and images I am holding out to make my final decision on the show. What are your thoughts on this series? Are you looking forward to watching it?
