Christina Hendricks To Play Another Sixties Hottie in BOMB

Movie Elle Fanning by

Mad Men's Christina Hendricks plays a sexy sixties lady in AMC's hit drama series and is set to star in a new movie from the same era. The Daily Mail is reporting that Hendricks has joined the cast of Sally Potter’s anti-nuclear movie, Bomb, which is also set in that decade.

The movie focuses on "two teenage rebels, played by Elle Fanning and Alice Englart, who become involved in the Ban the Bomb movement and the sexual revolution." Filming is planned to begin in London this February. The cast also includes Alessandro Nivola, while Annette Bening is considering a role in the movie.

She recently starred in one of my favorite films of the year, Nicolas Winding Refn's Drive opposite Ryan Gosling. While this is not that geeky of a post, the story does sound pretty cool. Hendricks is simply gorgeous, and if you have not watched her in Mad Men you definitely should.
