Peter Weller cast in STAR TREK Sequel
Robocop star Peter Weller is the latest addition to the cast of J.J. Abrams' Star Trek sequel. There's not information on who he will be playing in the movie, but he will join the recently cast Benicio Del Toro who will play the villain and Alice Eve as reportedly a new character. The original cast consists of Chris Pine, Zachary Quinto, John Cho, Simon Pegg, Zoe Saldana, Karl Urban and Anton Yelchin and they will all be back to reprise their roles.
Abrams will is set to direct the movie from a script written by Alex Kurtzman, Roberto Orci and Damon Lindelof. We have absolutely no idea what this movie is going to be about, but I can't wait to see what this team of filmmakers came up with!
Paramount will start filming in early 2012 for a May 17, 2013 release.
