JOHN CARTER Featurette Asks If You're The Real John Carter!
John Carter marketing is in full swing right now, with a recent trailer, new stills and clips befing released by Disney. Since it was announced yesterday that Andrew Stanton has two more John Carter films planned, it makes sense that they want to pack as many bodies in the seats when the first film arrives in theaters.
I will be one of those people seeing this movie. I like the cast, which is lead by Friday Night Lights star Taylor Kitsch. It looks like there will be some cool action sequences and killer special effects.

The film tells the story of war-weary, former military captain John Carter (Taylor Kitsch), who is inexplicably transported to Mars where he becomes reluctantly embroiled in a conflict of epic proportions amongst the inhabitants of the planet, including Tars Tarkas (Willem Dafoe) and the captivating Princess Dejah Thoris (Lynn Collins). In a world on the brink of collapse, Carter rediscovers his humanity when he realizes that the survival of Barsoom and its people rests in his hands.
